Originally released in the spring of 2020, 'Xian' is the long-awaited spin off from 2019's 'bare II' that carries on the genre-bending exploits Mohamed Abnaof's work is known for. Moving away from the Psychedelic, Trip Hop and Future bass inspired pieces and into the colder and more detailed IDM-influenced warehouse that the project wishes to explore. In under 20 minutes Edyth tells a story of spirits crossing the Rubicon while seamlessly blending Glitch, Bass, Ambient, Dub, Vaporwave, Gqom and Post-club in a way that does not at-all seem unfamiliar.
